Riverway Wash Pitcher and cup set.  Each piece was hand thrown and carved into a unique design. The glaze is a stunning blue-black glossy glaze, designed and hand-made by artist Loren Jones from Fort Collins, Colorado, formerly of the Pacific Northwest. Loren is a rising star within the Colorado art scene of Colorado and we're glad he's here! The pitcher and cup set are each individually hand thrown and "altered" revealing a new-found symmetry. You will notice a combination of blue glazes that meld within the piece, dramatically highlighted with black tones, which creates a wash of color that is inspired by our Colorado Riverways. Loren's work reveals inspiration from workshops with famous Steven Hill, Tom Coleman and others. Their work can be viewed in Ceramics Monthly Magazine and online.

NOTE that each mug is unique with a little variation in size, matched by color and form. This is an outstanding set, originally hand thrown on the potter's wheel and then each piece was "altered" to make the original, unique pitcher and cups.
