Artistic, unique pitcher designed, hand thrown and made by Loren Jones from Fort Collins, Colorado, formerly of the Pacific Northwest. Loren is a rising star within the art scene of Colorado and we're glad he's here! This pitcher was hand thrown and "altered" revealing a new-found symmetry. You will notice a combination of blue glazes that meld within the piece, dramatically highlighted with black tones, which creates a wash of color that is inspired by our Colorado Riverways. Loren's work reveals inspiration from workshops with world-famous Steven Hill, whose work can be viewed in Ceramics Monthly Magazine and online. This two-quart pitcher is food safe of course.
