Magma Puppy Art Deco / Cubist figurine:  This design is from an original art deco University City Pottery mold, St. Louis, Missouri during its heydey (1910-1914).  The mould was authenticated as a University City Pottery work by David Rago. The Dachshund was revered in the Egyptian culture, and brought good luck to the home.  Pottery / Artist:  Joyce Anttila of Castle Rock, Colorado.

Magma Puppy is a dachshund figurine originally inspired from a 1920's design from University City Pottery in St. Louis, Missouri, the first professional pottery school of its kind!! My little Magma Puppy is looking for a new home! Magma's color is "Verde Glow" this glossy green glaze is derived from an artisty-blend-combination between matte and glossy layering. The end result is a *really cool* finish with very interesting green patterning that will compliment furniture and decor.

Magma Puppy's design is from the art deco heydey time period (1910-1914) with cubist elements.
