INTRODUCING MAGMA PUPPY dachshund sculpture, our signature Arts and Crafts piece. In the picture, we're taking our dogs on a walk through a canyon in our gorgeous Pikes Peak Mountain Range.
PICTURED L-R: BluMatte, Craftsman Green (matte), Pikes Peak Yellow (matte) and Texas Tan (glossy glaze).
MAGMA PUPPY's design was from the original art deco University City Pottery mold, St. Louis, Missouri during its heyday (1910-1914). This rare mold was autheticated as a University City Pottery work by David Rago at Antiques Roadshow in 2007, making this a collectible that is very unique! Each dachshund figurine is reminiscent of cubist style, and is a sizeable sculptural piece, at ten inches tall, three inches wide and five inches deep.

Hi!
My parents purchased the magma puppy statue for me and my husband because we are dachshund lovers and owners. My mother said there was a write up with the statue about dachshunds and Egyptian beliefs, however she did not get a copy of it for me. I would love to have one please send a copy. I love the statue!
