Claw Mug is an original American Art Pottery design!  The glaze is gorgeous matte green with a satiny feel to it (not glossy), with black airbrushed highlights -- WOW!  The pictures show how highly detailed it is. The Claw Mug is a customer favorite -- designed, finished, glazed and signed by the artist.

Each Claw Mug has four stately claws encircling the vessel, which is hand finished, etched and glazed. This green matte / satin glaze is also a favorite -- it is stunning and eye-catching with Gothic influence -- a show stopper!! Enjoy this amazing vessel in your hand whilst you enjoy your favorite beverage, making a unique statement that no one will surely miss! About the Artist:  Designed and made by artist Michael Cowles, who worked 7 1/2 years at the world famous Van Briggle Pottery, Colorado Springs, Colorado, most recently as their production manager.  This is Mike Cowle's own design handmade by him (NOT a design of Van Briggle Pottery).  In the past, this item was sold at Van Briggle, as an employee item.
