RIVERWAY WASH Artistic coffee mugs, a unique design of Loren Jones from Fort Collins, CO, formerly of the Pacific Northwest. Loren is a rising star within the art scene of Colorado and we're glad he's here! Coffee mugs are individually hand thrown and "altered" revealing a new-found symmetry. You will notice a combination of blue glazes that meld within the piece, dramatically highlighted with black tones, which creates a wash of color that is inspired by our Colorado Riverways. Loren's work reveals inspiration from workshops with famous Steven Hill, as well as others; his work can be viewed in Ceramics Monthly Magazine and online.
